 Robert,

VisAD is still actively developed, because of its use by other systems
including Unidata's IDV, SSEC's McIDAS V and the LOCI lab's
VisBio. For more about VisBio, see:

http://www.loci.wisc.edu/visbio/

These are all healthy systems with long and secure futures, so you
can count on VisAD being around for many years.
