Hi,

it's been some time, but I'm gonna give it a go ;-)

display.getGraphicsModelControl().setPolygonMode( DisplayImplJ3D.POLYGON_LINE);

also,

graphModeControl.setTextureEnable( false );
and
graphModeControl.setPointMode false );

are interesting methods for you.
