Hi Ghansham, Thank you for the advice. Setting the CurvedSize to 1.0 did not really improve the plot so much, but apparently setting it to 0.1 improves it a lot. Please check the attached screenshots. Could you explain what this change actually does? Does it affect memory usage? So far It seems we can resolve the original issue by turning the texture on and setting the CurvedSize to 0.1. Thanks a lot once more! Modified code is attached herewith. Let me know if you think there is an issue there. regards Ghansham On 05/23/2012 01:55 PM, Tomas Pluskal wrote: Dear Ghansham, Thank you for your response. It contains - the binary dump of the data set (1000 x 1000 data points) - a short Java program that loads the data set and opens a VisAD plot with the proper dimensions - screenshots of the VisAD visualization with texture ON and OFF I appreciate your help with this issue! Best regards, Tomas Hello Sir I have seen into the issue of "Strange rendering depending on axis range" using geometry (with texture off). And found a solution. I think it will work. I will get back to you on on this again. Still a bit caught up with some other stuff. Sorry for the delay. regards Ghansham =============================================== Tomáš Pluskal G0 Cell Unit, Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University 1919-1 Tancha, Onna-son, Okinawa 904-0495, Japan TEL: +81-98-966-8684 Fax: +81-98-966-2890 <VisadTestDump.java> =============================================== Tomáš Pluskal G0 Cell Unit, Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University 1919-1 Tancha, Onna-son, Okinawa 904-0495, Japan TEL: +81-98-966-8684 Fax: +81-98-966-2890
