Tom, et al.,Nice work, and a definite improvement. I would also humbly suggest there be some attractive image generated by VisAD at the top of the home page. In addition, it would be nice to have a gallery page with corresponding code samples similar to what matplotlib has (http://matplotlib.org/gallery.html). Perhaps this could be a summer intern project.

The VisAD library has been udpated to revision level r6044. The changes since the last update in May, 2013, are described below.
