Hi there, > Our Linux (Centos 7) Cave clients (18.2.1-6) are not able to display Metar > station plots, > as well as some satellite products. Looking at the AlertView messages, I see > the phrase > "Could not find valid extension for class" to be common to all the error > messages. Our > Windows installs of Cave display those products just fine. I've attached the > AlertView > messages for the Metar plot and Visible satellite display. I also attached > the install > log as well, but the install log has no error messages. Could you look and > let me know > where the problem is? Hopefully, it is an easy fix. I'm sorry CAVE is giving you issues on your CentOS machines. My first idea has to do with a possible issue with the graphics card. Do you know what graphics cards are running on the CentOS machines? Also, could you send us the output from running this command in the terminal: glxinfo Hopefully we can get this worked out for you.
