Hi Gerry, re: > Didn't we discuss some products via McIDAS that cover farther south > than the CONUS products? One of our more recent conversations was in regard to high resolution model data that could be provided to Unidata participants in the Caribbean and Central America where network bandwidth does not allow the ingest of the full CONDUIT stream. > I've some folks interested in looking at > Felix data that they're not finding so far. Among other things, > they're sorta interested in resolving cumulus development in the 1km > products. I think you are referring to something other than what my comments above are related to. There is ADDE access to full resolution, realtime GOES-East data on unidata2.ssec.wisc.edu. The ADDE dataset group name is EAST, so the McIDAS or IDV user can access the data using the machine name and ADDE dataset group name. In McIDAS this is done as: DATALOC ADD EAST unidata2.ssec.wisc.edu DSINFO IMAGE EAST IMGLIST EAST/NH IMGDISP EAST/NH LAT=14 78 MAG=1 -2 BAND=1 etc. Band 1 is the VISIBLE channel which has 1 km resolution at the subsatellite point (0 degrees North; 72 degrees West). > Could you give me a pointer, please? Is this what you are referring to? Cheers, Tom **************************************************************************** Unidata User Support UCAR Unidata Program (303) 497-8642 P.O.
