Pete, Yes, the areaInfo program used by nsat_links needed an update last year when goes 9 ceased and the new GOES-10 number was introduced. Actually, I added the numbers through GOES-12 to preempt the next failure. The areainfo program is used by the script to determine the time, imager, and band from the areafile for the gempak GARP/NSAT expected name since the AREA0120 name doesn't do diddly for telling what time the image is without looking inside.
