Thanks for yor reply! I eventually came to the same conclusion, after some trial and error. One piece of advice: You may want to change the sample script on your webpage (under 'Examples' -> 'Creating images for WWW') to reflect this. As it is, the gpend is outside the loop. New users who copy this script (like me) will run into problems with it. Thanks again, Dana > You need to close off each GIF file with a gpend.
