Charles J. Alonge Posted on 20060118.1559 MST ================================================================ Support, I've been using gdgsfc to create sfc files in GEMPAK. Up until now I have been plotting multiple traces on top of one another to compare radiation fluxes from different model runs to sfc observations. Is there a way to difference to similar parameters from each other in different surface files (i.e. similar to setting gdpfun = SUB(TMPC+1,TMPC+2) in gdplot2/gdcntr)? Any assistance you can provide me will be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Chuck Charles J. Only simple operations in the same data set are supported. A program could be written to process surface parameters in multiple files, but that does not generally exist in current programs. Another possibility would be to do the subtraction within the grid field first, and then write the new difference field out to a surface file.
