David, The grid #236 40km data on noaaport are sent at 50mb intervals. The grids on the NWS ftp server are at 25mb intervals, but we don't send them on CONDUIT since they are duplicates of the 20km grids already in CONDUIT. for the grid 252 problem, change the pqact.conf pattern to: # Grid #252 (20km) grib2: prod/ruc2a.*grib2 CONDUIT prod/ruc2a.*grb20.*grib2 Turns out the old pattern matches both the #211 and #252 products since NCEP added grib2 versions of the 80km grids. Adding that substring grb20 in the above ensures that you are getting the 20km grid. I can see the variables, > levels, etc.in GDINFO but plotting results in a generic "Input grid XXXX > ^yymmdd/hh00fxxx cannot be found" error. When I examine my dcgrib2_RUC.log > file, I see numerous entries like this one: > > > > 4362] 061209/2246[DCGRIB 1] Grid navigation 301.000000 225.000000 LCC > incompatible with file data/gempak/model/ruc/2006121003_ruc.gem > > [4362] 061209/2246[DECODE_GRIB2 -4] UREL [061210/0300F006] 10:-1 HGHT 301 > 225 > > > > Any idea as to what might be causing this? > > > > The relevant pqact.conf entries are: > > > > # CONDUIT RUC grids (currently this grid is a duplicate of grib2) > # Grid #252 (20km) grib1: prod/ruc2a.*#252 > CONDUIT prod/ruc2a.*#252 > PIPE decoders/dcgrib2 -m 15000 -d data/gempak/logs/dcgrib2_RUC.log > -e GEMTBL=/home/gempak/GEMPAK5.9.4/gempak/tables > # > # Grid #252 (20km) grib2: prod/ruc2a.*grib2 > CONDUIT prod/ruc2a.*grib2 > PIPE decoders/dcgrib2 -m 15000 -d data/gempak/logs/dcgrib2_RUC.log > -e GEMTBL=/home/gempak/GEMPAK5.9.4/gempak/tables > data/gempak/model/ruc/YYYYMMDDHH_ruc.gem > > > My ldmd.conf entries are: > > > > request CONDUIT "prod/(nam.*awip3d|ruc2a.*grib2|gfs.*pgrb[^2])" > mydata.server.com > > > > request HDS "(^[YZ].H.*/mNGM|^Y.I...
