Hi Harry, I'm away until Monday so will look at this then. Can't remember off the top of my head but didn't make any edits to crnids as it handled the new files without error, though if there's a unit conversion error I missed it would not have stood out as 0.5 m/s is too close to 1 knot for my eyes to catch if the products looked wrong. Michael > I just realized that the new NIDS base velocity products (code 99 - ids > N0U, N1U, etc) have the winds to the nearest 0.5 m/s according to > WSR-88D document 2620001N. The color bar in gpmap is showing values in > knots. Are you really doing a units conversion, or should the bar say m/s? > > -- > Dr. Harry Edmon E-MAIL: address@hidden > 206-543-0547 FAX: 206-543-0308 > Director of IT, College of the Environment and > Director of Computing, Dept of Atmospheric Sciences > University of Washington, Box 351640, Seattle, WA 98195-1640 > > Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: QUF-502446 Department: Support GEMPAK Priority: Normal Status: Open
