The reason that these particular files are not being read is because we don't handle char time parameters. What is your source of these files? They appear to be using a WXP decoder. Are you using WXP? If not, I would suggest that you move to using the Unidata netCDF decoders. The IDV can read that version of netCDF. You can find more information at: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/decoders/index.html Don Murray >======= 2005-12-09 14:55:27 you wrote======= > >>>From: "Jie Gong" <address@hidden> >>>Organization: MSRC @ Stony Brook Univ. >>>Keywords: 200512082011.jB8KB9Ld002757 IDV synoptic data >> >>Hi- >> >>>Institution: MSRC @ Stony Brook Univ. >>>Package Version: 1.2 >>>Operating System: os.name:Linux; os.arch:i386; os.version:2.4.20-8; >>>Hardware Information: java.vendor:Sun Microsystems Inc.; java.version:1.4.2_ > 01 >>> ; java.home:/home/guest/IDV_1.2/jre; >>>Inquiry: Dear Sir, >>> When I use your latest version IDV1.2, the observation data from my file > s >>> ystem could be added into field selector, but could not be displayed.
