Hi Josh- > I generated CAPPI plots of level II NEXRAD data a couple weeks ago using IDV > version 2.2. Today I reran the same data with the same CAPPI altitudes > using version 2.3 and got unexpected results. In some cases the plots were > very similar (2.2 vs. 2.3) with only minor differences noted in intensity > and position of weather. In other cases there were extremely different > plots between versions 2.2 and 2.3. I was interested in knowing what was > changed in the CAPPI program for version 2.3, and if there are any issues > currently being worked for the CAPPI display. We found a bug in the rendering of the Level II data which was fixed in version 2.3 and probably explains the differences you are seeing.
