[IDV #RJN-928267]: IDV does gives error when subsetting display area in UBUNTU

The situation is a little tricky here, I don't have a env. to figure out the 
problem. The only suggestion is to remove the installation and install a new 
one, also remove the .unidata to get a clean start.
