> When plotting synoptic data via the server adde.cise-nsf.gov, the dataset
> RTPTSRC, and the point type SYNOPTIC-Real-Time SYNOPTIC data, you can plot
> wind barbs. You can plot these barbs in the plot tab under Layer Controls, as
> well as in the Main Display Window. The barbs plot ok in the Northern
> Hemisphere, but not in the Southern Hemisphere. In the Southern Hemisphere,
> the barbs plot fine in the Main Display Window, but the flags are on the
> opposite side when displayed in the Layer Controls tab. The side of the barb
> that the flags are on is supposed to reverse once you move into the Southern
> Hemisphere, they do in the Main Display Window, not in the Layer Controls
> tab. I see the same thing in the IDV.
