Hi Hicham, re: > The TCP connection to the port 112 is now working, but i have this new > error when connecting to the ADDE server. To be clear: port 112 will be the port that is access on the server (for example adde.ucar.edu). The port used on your own machine will be randomly chosen by the operating system, but it will always be greater than 1024. We believe that the problem is something on your end, but we have some questions: - are you trying this connection from the Moroccan Meteorological Agency? - what is the bandwidth you expect from your machine to machines in the U.S.? - what time did you experience this error? We if we know the UTC time for the attempt(s) we can review the log files on our server to see if there is anything related to the connection attempt. If there is not, then the attempt is never making it to us. - when you experienced the current error, was it after waiting a long time for the connection? - is there another network that you can try the connection from? For instance, if you are trying from work, can you try from home? If your are trying from home, can you try from work? etc. - did you run a version of IDV previous to v3.0, and, if yes, was it able to connect to the ADDE server? Comment: - Users all over world are accessing the ADDE server on adde.ucar.edu, and they are not reporting any problems. This makes us believe that the problem is closer to you than to us. re: > Thanks for your support. No worries.
