[IDV #KYG-466458]: topography doesn't protrude correctly above 750mb humidity

> Full Name: brian mapes
> Email Address: address@hidden
> Organization: University of Miami
> Package Version: 5.0u1 build date:2014-07-21 07:05 UTC
> Operating System: Windows 7
> Hardware: Java: home: C:\Program Files\IDV_5.0u1\jre version: 1.7.0_51
> j3d:1.6.0-pre9-daily-experimental daily
> Description of problem: Here's a bundle showing the 750mb humidity and flow
> around Colorado mountains.
> Seen from a side view, the topography protrudes above 750mb properly.
> But seen from the top, the topography doesn't reliably protrude above the
> specific humidity graphical layer.
> Zooming in and out, or rocking the viewpoint off of vertical, yield
> unpredictable graphical effects.
>
> I wanted to use this bundle in a mini IDV training on Weds, but it is
> unsuitable, an embarrassment not ready to share with others.

Are you still in town, maybe we can sit down and discuss the issue?
