Jorge, There are *many* ways of subsetting on time in the IDV. The problem is best described here: https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/support/help/MailArchives/idv/msg06099.html If you wish to export large grids to Excel there may be other tools beside the IDV that could achieve the job. The IDV is not always the best data conversion tool.
