This is not the problem of IDV or the bundle. Somehow, the dataset: dods://goldsmr4.gesdisc.eosdis.nasa.gov/dods/M2T1NXSLV has something wrong with it. You need to let your professor contact the NASA data center to fix the problem from the server side.
