Hi Bob, MCIDAS is included in UNIDATA see: http://unidata.ucar.edu/packages/ldm/feedtypes/index.html so the MCIDAS allow is redundant, I do not think it will cause problems, especially since it is at the end of the line, but I would remove it next time I was in the file. Duanjun, what does your request line look like and what errors are you seeing in your logs re MCIDAS..
