The feedtype names on the web page http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/ldm/feedtypes/index.html are up to date with the current released version of the LDM (5.1.4). except that the feedtype for NOGAPS data, which should have been changed to print out as FNMOC, still prints out as NOGAPS in version 5.1.4. But NOGAPS and FNMOC are aliases for the same feedtype. When 5.1.5 is released, one other change will be made: the feedtype currently referred to as AFOS will instead appear in logging as GPSSRC, though AFOS will still be a supported synonym for that feedtype. I just updated the GEM feedtype entry in the table to point to more information about the new GEM feed. The old feedtypes PPS, DDS, HDS, and IDS don't mean much anymore since we switched from NWS Family of Services to NOAAPORT some years ago. Now all the NOAAPORT text products are given the feedtype "DDPLUS|IDS" and the binary GRIB products are assigned the feedtype "HDS". Please let us know if you need more information. --Russ _____________________________________________________________________ Russ Rew UCAR Unidata Program address@hidden http://www.unidata.ucar.edu
