No, an "f" or "F" suffix on a floating-point constant in ANSI C
indicates that the constant is not double; the default for a
floating-point constant with no suffix is double.

This notation was added to Standard ANSI C, but is not necessarily
supported by non-ANSI compilers.

It sounds like your change worked fine.
