I'm not sure...they are off of our AWIPS system...however it stores them.

I can not display 8-bit (256 level) 88D data in the GEMPAK programs. NMAP2 dumps core, and GARP just displays a blank map. Is this a known limitation in GEMPAK? If so, are there plans to add the ability to display this 8-bit data?
