Re: [gembud] DCLSFC synoptic decoder

Kwan,

The station file(lsystns.upc) the ldm uses is simply the one provided in the GEMPAK6.2.0 package. So, I haven't made any alterations to it. This file was also used instead of syworld.tbl because of the template pqact entry in $NAWIPS/ldm/etc/templates. I think syworld.tbl was the default file used several versions prior to recent ones.

Yes James! The station file must be the culprit! The Philippines
stations were decoded after using your station file. I was using
syworld.tbl, but I suppose there were bad characters in the file that
caused DCLSFC to stop reading at some point. Have you added new
stations to the file?

I appreciate your help very much.

Kwan,

One last thing you might check is the station file you used for
reference in decoding synoptic data. I attached the one used by
ldm on
our system.
