[idvusers] Using shape files with Texas state plane projection

All,
I am attempting to overlay some data on maps produced by our regional mapping 
authority.  When I open the files in IDV I only have a line. 

How do I get IDV to recognize this file, if possible?  

I have been working with the projection setting but nothing has worked.  I am 
assuming this projection is not one IDV can ingest.
