When launching from the icon, the splash screen comes up and then the
Data Chooser window. But the splash screen never goes away and the
Display Window never appears.
When I run the script /Applications/IDV_4.0/runIDV from a terminal,
it works properly.
I am running the following version of java:
java version "1.6.0_41"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_41-b02-445-11M4107)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.14-b01-445, mixed mode)
I could certainly use the IDV launching from a terminal, but the
launch icon is more handy.
Any other Mac users having similar issues?
