On a side note, I have a 12.1 db carrier/noise. I see that figure is relatively common.

I ingest both GOES-R channels, the S300 misses some of them.

one thing to try would be (as root):

sysctl -w net.ipv4.ipfrag_max_dist=0
sysctl -p
