Stonie,
I am not sure about your pattern with first letters "IU" regardless of
Japan or Sweden. The one I posted starting with "IS" is responsible for
what I have showing in the attached graphic of stations.  Note the USA has
METARs, not SYNOPs as we know and I really am perplexed why I don't have
any showing in Australia, Japan, India, and parts of Russia.
