Bill, thanks for the fix. I have been traveling so I couldn't test the code before it went to the release. Ihave downloaded the new visad.jar and tried it. The plot does show now. But I have observed another problem. When I try to use the left mouse button to drag the coordinate box (this should cause the box to move around with the cursor), as soon as the mouse start to move, the box and everything else in the plot disappears. The background remains unchanged. This happens everytime in my project application. But when I try to make an independent test program to reproduce the problem, the problem happens only once in a while. Also, when I modify the test program similar to what I have submitted so that it opens more than one plot, I have observed the same old "grey" window twice, in one of the visad plot window. ( that would be a few percent in pure probability sense ) In my project I can start the plot in a Jython console to make the plot shows in the internal frame. This means that i can poke the protected and private fields of a running class, like using a debugger. If you want me to try something in my application, because it reliablly has this problem, please let me know. thanks maohai --- Bill Hibbard <billh@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hi Maohai, > > Thanks for finding this, and thanks for the test program. > The fix is in: > > > ftp://ftp.ssec.wisc.edu/pub/visad-2.0/untested/VisADCanvasJ2D.java > > Cheers, > Bill > __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
