Re: [idvusers] Using shape files with Texas state plane projection

Just guessing, but I'll venture that the shape needs to be re-projected into good ol plate caree (i.e. AKA unprojected, cartesian, lat/lon, ECE, etc.) for ease of use. That is always acceptable in IDV. Or you could re-project it to a projection that is certainly known to be handled well by IDV.
